Osho Rajneesh was born Chandra Mohan Jain on 11th December 1931 in Madhya Pradesh in the Maha dasha of Venus and antar dasha of Saturn. Both these planets are placed in his 8th house with mercury, moon and mars. Eighth house is the most inauspicious house in a horoscope and though Venus was his lagan lord and Saturn a yogkarak planet which should have given him a good beginning but their 8th house placement gave him a very humble beginning.
In 1955 he did his graduation in philosophy and in 1957 M.A. in philosophy from Jabalpur University and became a lecturer in the same university. His five planets aspecting the house of speech gave him amazing persuasion powers but since it is a mix of benefics and malefics his thoughts were unorthodox and non-traditional. He was giving discourses on socialism, Gandhi and Institutional religion in different parts of the country and in 1968 his lectures were published under the name of “Sex to super consciousness”. This scandalised Hindu leaders as he spoke about freer acceptance of sex and came to be known as a sex guru.
Eighth house is a house of research and mystic occult science and since his 8th house is fortified he had this tendency to go deep into any topic and follow the unbeaten path. In 1974 in the dasha of Rahu and Venus he opened his ashram in Pune. The activities in his ashram caught the attention of the authority and since things were becoming difficult for him he moved to US under the cover of health issues. Here also he got in trouble for various reasons and in 1985 in the Maha dasha of 8th lord Jupiter he was deported back . He was denied entry by 21 countries since his expulsion from US and had to finally come back to India. He was by now keeping bad health and finally died in Jan of 1990.
His Indu Lagan, a wealth parameter was in Gemini, his second house aspected by 5 planets from the 8th house. This gave him huge amount of unaccounted wealth due to his speech and some hidden controversial activities too. Rahu in his 11th house of income gave him unlimited income but since it is a malefic the money was not clean.
Whenever there is a cluster of planets in one particular house it shows an imbalance and a bias towards the traits of that house. Here Venus the planet of sex and love got tainted with a shudra planet Saturn, a functional malefic mars and moon with mercury which being an impressionable planet becomes malefic. He created a society in his ashram which was against all social norms giving infamy. He had to run away from India to US but there too he was not peaceful as he kept getting in scandals after scandals. His Lagan lord Venus associated with 12 lord mars and Saturn a natural karak for prison, put him behind bars in US. His end too was not good as he suffered a heart attack at the age of 58. His epitaph reads, “Osho//Never born//Never died//Only visited the planet Earth between//Dec 11 1931- Jan 19 1990”.
