Chinese animal signs 2

The chinese astrology is based on the lunar year which varies every year and falls somewhere between late January and early February unlike western astrology which works on the solar year . Hence their new year starts on 1st of January every year.

This year the chinese new year starts on 4th of February 2018.

There are 12 animals and they follow one another in a cyclic nature, so each animal gets one year. This cycle repeats every 12 years.

For the sake of uniformity we take 4th February as the start of new year every year.

So a person belongs to one sign from February 4th to February 3rd next year.

Here is the table of all signs in a tabular form-

Rat      1924 1936 1948 1960 1972 1984 1996 2008 2020
